Signal Hill Petroleum regularly maintains equipment, pipelines, tanks and wells to ensure the most efficient, safest and environmentally friendly operations. The company has a 24 hour team out 7 days a week. Twice a year the company checks to ensure that our wells are balanced. When the wells are balanced and running properly, they do not weigh down our electricity usage.
These controllers allow the oil wells to only operate when it is most optimal, allowing there to be less wear on the equipment. It maintains pumping unit efficiency and saves the pump from essentially wasting electricity. This equipment allows for less maintenance on the pumps.
We continually test our pipes in segments to stay ahead of our 2-year hydro testing requirement. Signal Hill Petroleum is proactive with the maintenance to ensure that there is no possibility of a leak by testing our pipes every year, regardless of the age of the pipes.
As an environmental safeguard, we make sure that our facility tanks and pipelines are of the highest standard to ensure that the oil is always kept in a safe, controlled location. Our integrity testing program exceeds regulatory standards.
